OGX will run every 10-15 minutes on weekdays and fare will be free for the first three years. OGX is a Bus Rapid Transit line that will provide an environmentally friendly, electric bus connection from the Ogden FrontRunner Station, to downtown and Nine Rails, to Weber State University and McKay-Dee Hospital. The projects underway will improve access, activate, and beautify the Nine Rails Creative District. Parking Map during Nine Rails Construction A waterline replacement in 26 th Street is also scheduled during this time, but travel will remain open in both directions. Ogden City intends to complete the improvements to Ogden Ave. Work on sidewalks and landscaping will continue beyond those dates. by mid-June and between Adams and Jefferson Aves. UTA plans to pave and reopen 25 th Street to vehicle traffic between Washington Blvd. Look for the directional signs for parking and pedestrian access. For Thai Curry Kitchen, Cuppa, and The Lotus Café, Yoga Studio & Shop, street parking is available on Adams and Jefferson Aves. Additional parking options may be available for patrons of The Monarch, WB’s Eatery, Art Box, and OCA please contact these businesses directly for more information. Street parking is allowed on the east side of Ogden Ave., except where the curb is painted red. Limited street parking on Ogden Ave., accessed from 26 th Street, may be used for quick visits, drop-offs, and picking up food orders. From there, follow the pedestrian detour signs. This lot can be accessed from both 24 th Street and Adams Ave.
For longer visits to The Monarch, WB’s Eatery, Art Box, and OCA, patrons can use the parking lot immediately west of the Peery Apartments (2461 Adams Ave). are closed to through traffic, parking and business access remain available. Īlthough 25 th Street and the north end of Ogden Ave. Parking and access to these businesses are available, as shown below. The upcoming First Friday Art Strolls on May 6 and June 3 are another great opportunity to support local businesses and artists. The community is encouraged to support these businesses – grab a bite to eat at WB’s, make a candle at Art Box, or take a yoga class at Lotus. Local businesses remain open during construction, including The Monarch, WB’s Eatery, Art Box, Ogden Contemporary Arts (OCA), The Lotus Café, Yoga Studio & Shop, Cuppa, and Thai Curry Kitchen. Ogden City is replacing waterlines in the area and is also making improvements to Ogden Ave. to support the new Ogden Express Bus Rapid Transit line (OGX). Utah Transit Authority (UTA) is currently making improvements to 25 th Street between Washington Blvd. The Ogden community is encouraged to support local businesses while several road construction projects are underway in the Nine Rails Creative District.
